Research
I study behavioral treatments for depression and the measurement that makes them testable. Three threads — a longitudinal thesis on mindfulness-based behavioral activation, a systematic review of trans behavioral health care outcomes, and EEG research on stress and cannabis — share one method: reproducible data work in R, so every number here regenerates from data, not from memory.
Master’s Thesis
The effectiveness of a brief, mindfulness-based behavioral activation intervention for college students with depression. New Mexico Highlands University, M.S. Clinical Psychology. Advisor: Dr. David Pan.
| Question | Does a brief, outdoor mindfulness-based behavioral activation intervention reduce depressive symptoms in college students? |
| Design | Longitudinal; psychometrics and statistical analysis in R |
| Status | Data collection and analysis complete; manuscript in progress |
| Advisor | Dr. David Pan |
The full analysis pipeline — cleaning, psychometrics, longitudinal models, and automated reporting in Quarto — regenerates every table and figure from raw data. A public synthetic/de-identified demo is in preparation; no participant data will ever be published.
